little t scheduled to open for QDoc
It’s official! The paint might still be drying, but little t is planning to open May 29 to coincide with the opening day of the QDoc film festival at the Clinton Theater, just one block from the bakery. QDoc, Portland’s queer documentary film festival, is one of only two such events in the world. Be sure to check out the festival program, available on line beginning May 7, and then drop by little t before or after the movies! little t american baker is proud to be an event sponsor of QDoc.
Keep checking back for updates on opening day and special QDoc weekend hours.
1 commentWelcome to little t
I’ve been thinking about opening my own bakery for a long time, and now–after baking in Portland for almost 10 years, I think I’m ready. Beginning last summer, I started looking at space, finally settling in the new Clinton Condominiums building at 2600 SE Division. Since then, I’ve been tweaking the business plan, gathering financing, shopping for equipment, and working on the design (with the very talented Adrienne Goodwin of Construct Design)…see some of her handiwork above. All of these efforts are coming together, and I’m pleased to say that construction is about to begin in early February. Check back here for more information about progress on the cafe, about the full menu of artisan breads and pastries, sandwiches, soups and salads, and about a grand opening!
